There’s a rich antiquity of barbering at 29 South Park Street. A little over 100 years ago was the very first time the doors were opened. This marked the beginning of something very special. At that time, all the neighborhood locals began to get their haircuts and shaves at this establishment. It wasn’t long before they became loyal and highly satisfied customers due to the exceptional and precise work of the talented barbers behind the chairs. Subsequently, word spread throughout the community and the shop became the “go to” place for all of men’s grooming needs.

After some 90 years of history making, barbershops as a whole were on the decline and tonsorial services at this location started to fade. I began to envision a revival of classic barbering and had a deep desire to recreate the past to keep the heritage alive and carry them into the future. In 2000, Comb was born and 15 years later is still carrying the torch for what will always be a great American tradition. What we’ve learned from times past is how important and valuable excellent customer service is. It is our priority to pay attention to old world detail so that every client that walks through our doors not only becomes loyal, but leaves highly satisfied.

As third generation owner, I strive to continue the culture and maintain the authenticity for many years to come.
